Engagement session for Kayla and Dustin-Bright and Vivid!

I have to say that this was one of the most fun sessions I have had to date! I wanted to run home and look through all the photos! Dustin just got back from Afghanistan and is leaving again to finish his tour in Georgia on Thursday, I was lucky enough to meet him while back and his beautiful fiancee Kayla! I'm sure there will be many more to come of this couple, but here is a sneak peak of them. And I'm sure if they give me permission you will also see them hanging on my studio walls in the future! Was a wonderful time meeting both of your mom's and meeting you! Thank you for making my work....well... FUN!

I couldn't have asked for a better day on this photo, the background and clouds were untouched, nothing at all was done to them it was that beautiful with the clouds I was soo happy! :)

FIF #102

This is for Fix-it-Friday for I heart faces! Loved doing this cutie pie!! Her chubby cheeks...oooh I wanna pinch them! But then that wouldn't be good for the baby lol.

I used PSE9, I actually downloaded it wrong so hope it shows up ok on here and not bad, looks OK in my program so we will just start with what I did with it. I took some of the blemishes off of her cheeks and nose, just some scratch marks and some redness.Then I used a clean me up action, I then used my airbrush to soften her skin a little. Then I used Florabella's Love action, which by the way I LOVE! And that's it! Hope you like it, this is my very first fix it Friday! I'm also just in my first year of photography. Thanks for the fun edit!

I heart Faces-From a Distance

Hoping I do this right for it's my very first entry! This was from a session about two weeks ago. A young couple soo in Love! My shoot I wanted was up by the old abandoned church that they are walking to, they looked soo cute with her carrying her shoes and holding hands that I had to snap a pic of them.

Casting Calls

As most know, I am still in my first year of going pro. I have soo many ideas and I am loving how many are coming forward and saying "Yes! I will most def help you!". So this post is going out to anyone who would like to broaden their own modeling portfolio, who is going to have a newborn, who has their own idea and would like someone with the knowledge and skill to capture it! I am here and willing to share whatever I have in return for letting me use whatever pictures I take for my own portfolio. Here are some ideas I have:

Newborns outside- already have done inside and would love to bring the great outdoors into the picture! Being I hate studio work and the ONLY reason I even got a studio was because of newborns lol. Now it's Summer and I want to take advantage of the weather along with Nature's beauty!

Little Red Riding hood-yep I said it!

A shot that C Windland is going to help me create, rain, steam, roads, bikini's yeh it's like that!

A brass bed out in a field for some Boudoir shots!

Needless to say I am the type of photographer that will get as risque as a model needs or as Anne Geddes as a new mother wants! I LOVE taking pictures! I am about as open as they come and nothing really bothers me at all, if it does I'll tell you how "CRAZY" you are LOL. But don't think that will happen often for nothing shocks me :) I think actually, come to think of it yes....I have been told "I" was crazy for some of the ideas I have LOL. But hey, I don't like to do what everyone else is doing! Never been a follower, always a Leader! So, if this catches your eye let me know! I'm sure we can work on something together!

Baby "W"

Well this blog is WAY overdue :) I had the honor of working with Dr. Connor baby Wesley's mom. I have to say she is soo down to earth and really had a great time working with her! She welcomed me into her home and I set up for little Wesley when he was just 4 days old, I have to say to my surprise he was NOT a sleepy baby lol. After about 2 1/2 hours of trying we got a few family shots but not many alone shots, Darcy (Wesley's mom) and I decided maybe trying again in a few days once he got settled would be a better option. So on day 8 of his birth I came back to try again. Little Wesley was stubborn, but we managed to get in a few more shots at least, one of which you can really tell how mad he was at me lol. But what a cutie! I really enjoyed working with the Connor's and hope to work with them again in the future and cover the growth of their children! Thank you Connor Family for letting me into your home and sharing this time with me!
